im beginning to reali enjoy reading my psychology text.. was reading and studying in sch earlier on monday and came across this page tt i tot was rather interesting.

is it more true tt "Too many cooks spoil the broth" or that "two heads are better than one"

is it more true tt "The pen is mightier than the sword" or that "actions speak louder than words"

is it more true tt "You cant teach an old dog new tricks" or that "you're never too old to learn"

is it more true tt "Blood is thicker than water" or that "many kinfolk, few friends."

is it more true tt "He who hesitates is lost" or that "look before you leap"

is it more true tt "Forwarned is forearmed" or that "dun cross the bridge until you come to it"

i learned this new thing call the hindsight bias, which if the tendency to exaggerate, after learning an outcome, one's ability to have foreseen how something turned out. also known as the "i knew it all along" phenomenon.

interesting stuff. it is conducive to arrogance - an overestimation of our own intellectual powers. *laughs*

newae, i wun b writing for a while.. will b quite bz.. and doubt i'll b home for bout a week. its been rather hectic for me.. sch and packing my room.. getting ready to shift to a brand new nest.
