i didnt realise how time was wheezing us by, until i saw the shop assistant at bits & pieces scribble the date on the repair chit. it didnt seemed too long ago that we celebrated new year didnt we? we are in the farking month of february already. disgusting. its going to be a busy feb for me, my planner is nicely decorated with events and all the "to-do's". lets see..
0102: over already
0202: class till 430, dinner at uncle's
0302: class till 1230, working from 1-6, dinner at uncle's
0402: class till 1200, going chris' plc, dinner at aunt's
0502: boy's on BOS, gonna get rus out hopefully, serene's departure
0602: rus and ernest's departure, class till 12
0702: class. study. audit assignment due.
0802: erevision starts, going to war with the rest of the SIM ppl.
1102: cortina dinner
1402: vday. no plans yet.
2302: corporate finance assignment due.
in the midst of all this, i have to stick to my study schedule to prepare for mock exams early march and at the same time, start suffering from days-without-rus-and-ernest-crap. mind you, above dates are without friend's birthday celebrations. its scary to even start thinking. my horoscope last sunday didnt tell me i was going to lose my friends and sanity.
i embarked on a new book i borrowed from caron when i went over to her place. been a long time since i met her mum, so i thought i should go over and bai nian.
marian keyes - the other side of the story.
not the usual sidney sheldon kind, but one that makes you bubble up with happiness inside. happy thoughts happy thoughts.
arrival of chinese new year (and soon the departure), meant alot of people asking about you. when's marriage, when graduating, when this, when that, yadda yadda. i mean, not that they even remember because the same person can ask me the same question twice. but when one particular uncle asked how old i was this year, i stunned for a while and i seriously wanted to say i was 21.
not that i was escaping from reality, but i totally forgot i was already coming 23. to the extent, i had to do the mathematical way of 2006 - 1983 = 23. when u were younger, saying you are 16, 18 or even 21 was easier because you keep track of it. as you grow older.. this things seemed mundane and not so important already.
my closer friends would know that i treat birthdays as serious and eventful occassions, ( i have a couple of friends out there who really hate having birthday celebrations. i don't know why) so every year, i celebrated my birthday with a bang. having chalets, eating out, BBQs, clubbing blah blah blah. and every year without fail, around this time, i would think of what to do on my big birthday. but this year, i decided, its just going to be another day. maybe just a quiet affair. no more hype. coz im not going to do a chalet, a bbq or whatever until i die. even having a bbq at age 30 sounds weird already.
when i officially turn 23 means i'll graduate (if nothing goes wrong) in another 3 months. and graduating means finding a job with a decent pay, start working and saving up for rainy days. my savings, due to some reasons, have depleted totally. im starting from scratch all over again - little drops of water forms the ocean.
so, how was the CNY ang bao collection? i had a whopping $400 bucks. wahaha. i can feel jealousy and shock oozing out from your pores. *laughs* yuck. morbid.
anyway, it came in handy because i had to offset the credit card bills that chalked up to 400 plus too. *bah*
someone asked me out. haven't got this kind of invitation since i got attached.
hmmm.. no more updates. i'll post CNY pics soon. i hope.
bye!
