so i finally caught da vinci code in the movies and the book. the book, urm, maybe only 2 chapters into it.
the movie reviews on it were not too good with The Newpaper giving it onli 1.5 stars out of five. but judging the rate of internet bookings on golden village, so much so that the show was completely booked for the weekends, i decided maybe it was worth 2 hours of my time.
my conclusion: too lengthy.
the book was a bore to read, maybe im not such a pictorial person. they did too much description on the churches, the sculptures and buildings that 2 chapters into the book, all i knew was how high the ceilings of churches were.
the movie? too much talking. Leigh reminded me of dumbledore in harry porter - the one who always talk non-stop.
on the other hand, it was quite interesting with the deciphering of codes and mysteries.
with GV fully booked, i caught the show at the all new Cathay. nothing fantastic, i would have thought the late night movie cinemas at cineleisure level 9 was better. the seats super comfy.
anyway, my next paper is 30th may. 9 days to go. i wonder if this is called stress because im losing sleep and losing weight. my body refuses to fall into snooze until 6am in the morning only to wake up at 9am - 3 pathetic hours later. the rest of the day is quite spoilt and taking naps seemed impossible. my body is rejecting REST. grrr
i finally went to get my resume-passport-size photos done. some companies just want your recent photo attached. i wonder why.
its 4am now. am going to try and count sheeps. 542815659852 sheeps later, i'll still be awake. trust me.
