i cannot believe im already back to singapore. seemed like just yesterday i was fussing over the flights and hotels.

and so, 10 days in paris and london was pretty adventurous. lets start with the "frightening" scenes at the airport. grin.

honestly, i wasnt expecting anyone to come see us off (cept for gary and john coz i forced them to come haha), it was a short trip and i would be back in 10 days.

while i was at starbucks, i caught sight of alan, jen, heng and von. that was one pleasant surprise already. you guys are great!

then when it was time to check in, i hurried everyone to the check in counter and was busy entertaining gary and john when i saw Ngee Boon (Caron's bf) at the corner of my eye. missy caron came!! omg! really wasnt expecting it!

so then! whilst checking in, alwin's entire family thought it would be nice to come!

and after re-locating ourselves to Macs, sher and brian came too!! -faint-

so.. all in all.. i had this amount of people sending me off

but it was nice. i always love surprises. :) after we went in through the departure gates, my dad was asking me if i was going to stay in london for 10 years. wahaha!

anyway, back to the trip. we fumbled quite a bit in paris coz of the train. we were suppose to stop at gare du nord to proceed to the hotel. but the stupid fella at the gare du nord train station told us to go some where else! in the end, got quite lost but still managed to find the way to the hotel. thanks to my boy and my knowledge of urban topo. lol

the second disaster came when the hotel did not have our reservation!! i cannot believe anything more suay than this la. luckily for us, they had another hotel nearby which had rooms for the 3 days, so we proceeded there.

THAT hotel was worst than first world hotel at genting. trust me.

ok, the good thing was i visited paris disneyland. good clean fun. i took pictures with stitch

and here! and i bought 2 speedys (one for jacq and dad bought the other for me for my bday pressie) and a small coin pouch! yipes!

3 days later we set off to london. visited the big ben, the london eye, buckingham palace, harrods, selfridges and many more

most importantly i was there to attend my convocation!

ive graduated!!

i bought so many things! now im declared broke!!

1) the LV speedy that my dad bought for me

2) the LV coin pouch i bought for myself

3) the Gucci sling bag i bought at the london airport

4) a small harrods bag (loved it)

all in all, i love paris and london!! tho it was pretty expensive. can you imagine we had pizza at pizza hut for S$90? just a simple 4 person meal. -faint-

thats all for now.. im suffering from jet lags. time to go to bed!
