i read Rus' blog earlier this morning and felt the heavy heart yet again. its been quite a while since i read something that really sets your mind thinking bout life. bout relationships, work and all other genre.
why is it that sometimes there are decisions in life to make that has certain sacrifices. sacrifices of things, of feelings, of people who are dear to you. can we not at least once have the cake and eat it?
yet, being the very practical and some what selfish us, we make decisions based on a possible 30 years face value. the process of decision making can be important yet dreadful. emotionally. because the impact could be permanent.
we choose to decide on what we think its right for us first, we handle the emotions later. but there are also times when we allow ourselves to indulge a little and sometimes we do go overboard.
i think im at the latter now. overboard.
i thought i wouldnt have allowed it to happen, i had engaged in self-consciousness in more than one way or another at all points of my current relationship. in spite of that, i see myself sink. its an all time low.
for the record, i really do not know what is happening. certains things have changed but my expectations have not. i'll have to hibernate for a while. try and get myself out of the quicksand and do what's right for me and us.
-takes a deep breath-
alright. work at nikkei is getting quite challenging.
im doing alot of analysis work, alot of S&Ps, alot of MOUs, alot of term sheets and executive summaries. alot of P/E ratios, alot of paid up capital and i just learnt that the poland currency is called zloty. lol.
im meeting alot of lawyers and seen a couple of pretty impressive ones.
im having meetings that go longer and longer. the longest one i've attended so far was 4 hours. *faints* so many legal jargons!! and oh by the way there is another meeting at 3pm later.
but all i can say is, this is getting really exciting. im loving it.
now, i think i ought to get lunch before my meeting starts in an hours time.
ta for now!!
