phew. lets start the month of october with a very long entry.

I must say that the service standards in Singapore has really dipped. i had a long night yesterday with the jean gang of girls. headed down to kandi bar with shan while waiting for the rest to turn up. as usual rubber-time one la.

the service at kandi bar was atrocious. we sat down and made the first order, they brought the bill so i handed over my credit card and told them to hold the tab. couple of minutes later they brought the bill and ask me to sign. -_-

so i told them "i actually want to hold the tab?" so they went with their "oh ya!"

so while we were chatting i ordered the second drink then jia arrived. so the starving woman ordered food and drinks of which she asked the waitress

"do you serve only house wine"

"ya, we have white wine and red wine"

-jia's irritated face- which can be quite scary

"ya, so meaning u only have house wine lllllaaaaa"

"err, ya i think so"

i think jia was near screaming at her already. so newae, she ordered fries and some unagi roll with cheese thing and shan ordered some virgin thingy. no pun intended. ;P

when the same lady brought the order, she placed the plate with the unagi roll with cheese on the table and one unagi roll came off the plate! and the melted cheese went onto one of the cups.

ok look, im not about to scream at you and ask you to change the entire plate for me. but the least you could do is to pick it up and change the cup with the cheese???

but NO! she didnt! she assumed we were BLIND. and we didnt see the unagi roll land on the table and we cannot see the cheese on the glass. omg.

-jia irritated face again-

"excuse me!"

the waitress walked back.

"could you kindly change a glass of ice water because you dropped that unagi roll and now there is cheese on it."

then she nodded and quietly do. *faint*

and if you think she's done? hell no. she forgot shan's order of the virgin madras.

to save that waitress ass from splitting into 4 by jia, we decided to adjourned to raffles hotel where xian was.

and to think we were trying to save that waitress ass, we ended up splitting another waiter's ass at raffles hotel.

shan calls this the revenge circle. we get shit at work, so we give shit to people after work, who in turn go home and give their ppl at home shit, and then the ppl at home goes back to office and give people shit. ok this sounds wrong.

so newae, we settled at long bar, ordered singapore slings and some beer. as usual, the ladies asked for ice water and the waiter came back with this..

"mdm, our bartender didnt approve the order of 5 ice water because we dont provide ice water and you have to buy Evian at $12."

we told him its ok, just serve our singapore slings and shortly we saw him serving ice water to the table next to us!!!!

no EVIAN!!!

we called the waiter back and demanded to know why there are such double standards.. and check out what he said..

"its our company policy, we don't serve ice water to big groups of people, only to small groups of customers."

!!!!!!

i tell you, they are so messing around with the wrong group of girls, coz me, jia, and shan gave that waiter so much hell and demanded to see the manager, of which he returned telling us that there is NO SUCH POLICY and got that waiter to come apologise to us.

the manager offered us free round of drinks of which we declined (scarlee he spit inside how?), so he came back and gave us all a small gift from raffles hotel. the singapore sling glass. quite nice la.

morale of the story: do not miss with ladies who just had a hell week at work. :P

good friday night with the bitches! we should do this often enough.
