There was something to look forward to during work today, so maybe thats why the time passed pretty fast. i hurriedly pack up my stuffs at 6pm sharp and bid my boss goodbye.
YL sms-ed. said he will be late.
went back home and waited patiently while feeling all so excited. afterall, it has really been a long time since i last pillioned and this time it was on my favourite. one that i could only see from far and look at it in deep green envy in the past.
YL sms-ed again. He's here.
as i walked from my block to the clubhouse, there was a increased heart beat. i could feel my legs shivering slightly. but all of those disappeared the moment i saw her. i lost all possible emotions.
There she was, the Hayabusa GSX1300R in sparkling black and the very bright HD Lights. i stood rooted to the ground, awed in silence with my hands cupped over my mouth. She was stunningly beautiful.
YL asked if i still remembered how to pillioned. i nodded confidently, vividly remembering the lessons taught. He switched on the ignition key and there was something familiar bout the growl she made. i put the helmet on and with one hand on his shoulder, and my left leg on the foot rest, i swung my right leg across the seat and there i was.
seated on the Hayabusa.
not recovering from my awe. yet.
i sat close to him, remembering that i had to keep the centrifugal force low, and rested my hands on the oil tank. i told him i was ready to go.
he didnt go very fast coz i told him i might get scared, so at 80km/h, we got ourselves to east coast where i treated him for jap dinner.
thereafter, went to pump petrol and while travelling to the airport to meet up xian, he started to turn his throttle down.
80km
90km
100km
and by the time he reached 110km, i didnt have time to react to his need for speed. i bent down slightly more and used my inner thighs to tighten the grip on his hips.
120km
130km
140km
150km
160km
went all the way up to 170km/h and when we were reaching a turn, he slowed down to xkm/h and "Kup Corner" lor! i shut my eyes and visualised Valentino Rossi on MotoGP. there and then, i declared that a stress free ride. it went so fast, you think of nothing but your life. yet, the surprising thing was, the inertia force wasnt that powerful. on the ninja, interlocked fingers on his 6 packs would still make you feel like you're on the rollercoaster - almost flew off the bike a couple of years back when we came out of malaysia. and that was only 160km.
anyway, while waiting for xian to turn up, YL commented that i no longer "pulled" him down lower when he "Kup Corner" and no longer turn to look at traffic before he did. lol. I told him I have been sitting in a car for the last 4 years and there was no way i could practise doing that. :P
The whole bike experience was magnificient, there were the familiar and the unfamiliar bits. but i love it all the same.
