ok im really tired at 0107 hours, but this has been procrastinated for a long long time and before i forget whats left in my puny brain, i'll take this chance to document it down whats happened so far in exciting september.
just got back last weekend from my Open Water Dive at P. Dayang, which was simply mesmerizing. the sea water was so clear that even at night you could see the sea bed. we arrive at 5am to the site, took a quick nap before doing our 5 dives in 2 days. i mastered the clear mask technique and had good practice underwater when gio's mask wasnt exactly fitting.
i caught sight of the green turtle! i have always wanted to see the turtles underwater, for some reasons. the clown fishes were so cute lah! hiding between the anemonies and not forgetting the stingrays, stone fishes, wall of kunings that was really beautiful by the way, bat fish, starfishes, "christmas trees" and lotsa others! i was feeling comfortable under water and was slowly hovering at my speed looking for new species of fishes to spot. a pity the boy couldnt be there as he clumsily fractured his leg. i missed him much when i was there.
so now, im officially a certified OW diver, and ben just jio-ed me to go for the tioman trip in october. im making serious considerations because the savings is depleting from australia, KL and the OW course, not forgetting my up and coming CFA. it would be fun to go with ben and gio again though but i think its time i set the priorities right.
all the hassles and arguments along the way of planning were worth it, as this was a group that clicked well with each other and had lotsa fun laughing bout gio and calling him uncle B (beaver). it would be ideal to plan for another dive trip with the same group of people! although as an organiser many a times myself, i think it would be some what tough with differing work/school schedules. nevertheless, lets keep that in the books for now and maybe start by organising a post dive dinner perhaps? :)
early this month, the boy and i celebrated our 5 years of togetherness and he proposed with a bouquet of orange roses (which is sitting beside me now all dried and crispy) specially flown in from the cameron highlands and a 0.71 carat diamond ring. it was a very well organised surprise although me being the smart girlfriend suspecting something when i went into the restaurant and the waitresses were all smiling at me like im cameron diaz. there was a very heart warming montage which he engaged the help of adrian that totally melted my heart. he had with him all the pictures of us since the day we got together and ended the montage with a "will u marry me".
my heart totally melted that night as dinner proceeded with ice wine, mushroom soup, grilled cod fish and some heavenly chocolate cake - all my favorites. the night ended with a movie and a good long kiss.
the man i love, who loves me for who i am, who takes care of me and fusses bout me in every single way. who listens to my nags and silently grins. who orders macdonald delivery when he knows i need to OT and have no time for dinner. who picks me from work on tuesday and tells me its darling's wafer day. who doesnt care that im chor lor and vulgar most of the time. who understands that i have days i wish to be alone. who puts his arm under my neck and hug me to sleep for 5 years even though he know he wont feel his arm the next morning. i do not think there will be any men out there who can love me this much.
and life could be perfect in any way you want it to be. for me, life is perfect the way it is now coz i know i will be getting married to someone i know i cannot live without.
